This Privacy Policy describes how Sevastay LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our hotel management platform at app.sevastay.com (the "Service").
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and role (e.g., owner, manager). Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Property and financial data: We collect information you enter about your properties, including revenue figures, expense records, ownership structure, and imported night audit reports. This data belongs to you.
Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken, to improve the platform.
Device and technical data: We automatically collect IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps of access for security and diagnostic purposes.
Sevastay uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) to analyze uploaded documents and generate insights such as owner narratives and night audit summaries. Document content is sent to Anthropic's API solely to perform this analysis. We do not use your data to train AI models. Anthropic's data handling practices are governed by their Privacy Policy.

We retain your account and property data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for 90 days before deletion, giving you time to export. Demo accounts are automatically deleted after 14–30 days of inactivity.
We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, row-level access controls, and multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at admin@sevastay.com.
